It is a never-repeating process that constantly produces, reproduces, and creates anew. Hyphae visually explores how mycelium could behave speculatively in a two-dimensional space. It continuously creates new connections with neighboring strands while other connections are severed. It is a constant flow, a continual building up and breaking down, finding and letting go of the fine threads of the fungal network.

This project is designed as a real-time, generative patch.

Thus, it can run uninterrupted for the entire duration of the exhibition. It is adaptable to various environments, spaces, resolutions and aspect ratios. Metaphorically speaking, the hyphen network adapts to the frame in which it is viewed.
